KATHMANDU: UCPN-Maoist has urged the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML to form a national consensus government.

A standing committee meeting held this morning urged the two largest parties not to divide during the new government formation.

Meanwhile, the party has decided to draw attention of the government to address demands of the Madhesi people by amending the Constitution.

Similarly, the party has also decided to request the government to open the Indo-Nepal border points which were obstructed for the past two weeks due to the agitations of the United Democratic Madhesi Front.
