KATHMANDU: UCPN-Maoist on Saturday decided to send three more ministers to the coalition government led by KP Sharma Oli.

Leader Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has been selected to lead the party's team in the Cabinet. He would be inducted as Deputy Prime Minister with the Tourism portfolio.

Shakti Bahadur Basnet and Agni Sapkota would get the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry for Urban Development respectively, according to Maoist sources.

Prime Minister Oli had included Haribol Gajurel in his mini Cabinet as Agriculture Minister when he formed the Council of Ministers on Monday, October 12.

UCPN-Maoist is a key ally in the coalition government formed in the leadership of the CPN-UML chairman, Oli.

The Maoist politburo had been holding its meeting since Wednesday to select the names of ministers.
