UML meet continues

KATHMANDU:

The ongoing 17th central committee meeting of the UML discussed the political report presented by general secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal and the draft of an election manifesto prepared by standing committee member Jhala Nath Khanal-headed panel.

A total of 68 central committee members were divided into five separate groups to discuss both the documents, according to Rajendra Pandey, one of the central committee members. Pandey said that the groups have finished discussing both the documents and it would be presented in the full central committee meeting for approval.

He said team leaders of the five groups would present the versions of the groups each to the full meeting and the suggestions from the group discussions would be incorporated in the election manifesto draft.
