KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML Standing Committee meeting today concluded that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's state visit to India from February 19 to 24 was successful.

The meeting further held discussions about preparations for the Prime Minister's upcoming China visit, party office secretary Krishna Gopal Shrestha said.

The SC shall meet again on Monday.

Secretary Sherstha further added that issues relating to performance of the government, implementation of the Constitution, party's recent Tarai-Madhes campaign and nomination of advisory committee would be discussed in the meeting tomorrow.

Similarly, the next meeting would fix the date for party's politburo and central committee meeting, it is learned.
