UML unable to pick more leaders for ministerial berth

KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-UML is struggling hard to finalise names of leaders to represent the party in the coalition government led by its Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

The UML has so far sent Agni Prasad Kharel, Som Prasad Pandey and Satya Narayan Mandal as ministers in the government.

The party is holding its standing committee meeting at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar to finalise additional names, but has not made any decision yet.

According to UML Secretary and chief of the party's Publicity Department, no any new minister is likely to take oath from the party today.

It has been expected that PM Oli would expand his Cabinet including ministers from some other parties including the UCPN-Maoist today.

The Maoist party has already decided that Top Bahadur Rayamajhi would lead the party team in the government.
