Uncontrolled microbus knocks down Indian National at Jorpati

KATHMANDU: Police said an Indian National has been knocked down by an uncontrolled microbus at Jorpati in Gokarneshwor Municipality-5, on the northern outskirts of Kathmandu Valley on Friday.

Police identified the deceased as 27-year-old Rup Lal Sah of India currently residing in Bouddha in KMC-6.

Seriously injured in an accident Sah breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Shankarapur Hospital, according to police.

It has been learned that the microbus (Ba 1 Ja 9809) hit three pedestrians after it lost control on a steep road in the area. While, the two other injured persons are undergoing treatment at the nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, investigation is underway.
