KATHMANDU: Police on Friday said that a man, rescued injured, died during treatment at the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

The man who appears to be in his mid 40s is yet to be identified.

A police patrol team found the man severely injured in Baniyatar of Tokha Municipality-12 on the northern outskirts of Kathmandu at the midnight of April 2.

Police said the man was clad in blue full-sleeve t-shirt, dark blue half jacket, light blue vest and Addidas trousers.

Meanwhile, police have requested the deceased's family and relative, friends and other persons who could identify him to contact them.
