Unsigned ballot papers found in Kritipur Municipality-2, votes to be recounted
KATHMANDU: An agreement has been reached to recount votes for Kirtipur Municipality-2 after 10 ballot papers were found without bearing signatures of election officers while counting the votes.
A discussion held among the representatives of various political parties decided to this effect, following a minor dispute over the matter.
Election officer Gajendra Bahadur Singh admitted the fault of election office employees in relation to the recovery of unsigned ballot papers.
However, the counting of votes in ward number 3 and 4 is underway, informed Singh.
