Upper House passes Employees Adjustment Bill

KATHMANDU: The National Assembly, Upper House of the Federal Parliament, unanimously endorsed the Employees Adjustment Bill-2075 BS today.

The NA session passed the document received from the House of Representatives along with its feedback. Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lal Babu Pandit presented the proposal for the same.

The bill to amend some of Nepal's laws was also accepted by the session unanimously. Likewise, the bill to amend some of Nepal's acts to make them in line with the country's constitution was sent to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise deliberations.

Minister Pandit presented both the proposals on behalf of the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

Likewise, NA Secretary Rajendra Phunyal tabled the 'Public Auditing Bill-2075 BS', and 'Pesticide Management Bill-2075 BS' in the meeting.

The Upper House shall meet again at 2:30 pm on February 24.
