KATHMANDU: US Ambassador to Nepal Alaina B Teplitz called on Nepali Congress (NC) leader Ram Chandra Poudel at the latter's residence in Boharatar of the Capital on Thursday.

It has been learned that issues relating to mutual benefits and interests were discussed during the meeting.

On the occasion, leader Poudel shared with the Ambassador that the new Constitution was in the process of implementation by forging consensus among the political parties.

He said that preparations were also moving ahead to hold three tiers of elections with the consensus of political parties.

Similarly, Ambassador Teplitz assured of more support to the social, economic and infrastructure development of Nepal in the days ahead.
