The CPN-UML today condemned the government for using force on people who were internally displaced from their homes due to Maoist atrocities. “It is condemnable that the government has suppressed these people who have asked the government to ensure their right to life,” a release issued by party’s office secretary, Kashinath Adhikari, said. Police on Sunday held 200 Maoist victims from Tundikhel, Ratna Park, where they took out a rally seeking arrangements for their livelihood. Meanwhile, the Association of the Sufferers of the Maoists’ Atrocities of Nepal has flayed the government move of evacuating the Maoist victims from their temporary dwellings at Khulamanch.
