KATHMANDU: Police on Wednesday said that two cases of theft were reported in the Kathmandu Valley.

A laptop and a passport were stolen from a rented room of a Swiss national Alais van Hal in Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City-4.

Similarly, a closed circuit television worth around Rs 30,000 was stolen from a girls' hostel of the Nepal Engineering College in Duwakot of Changunarayan Municipality-14 in Bhaktapur on Wednesday.

Police said they are investigating into both the cases and searching for the respective suspects.
