The second bus of the Kathmandu-Lhasa direct bus service that began from May 1 could not set off today due to visa related problems.

The bus scheduled to leave today morning could not set off because the Chinese government did not provide visas to the passengers on time. “The bus will leave Kathmandu as soon as all the 20 passengers receive their visas,” said Shambhu KC of Sajha Yatayat. He said a significant number of people have shown interest in visiting Lhasa.
