KATHMANDU: Princess Beatrice Elizabeth Mary, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth, visited the Tilganga Eye Hospital on Sunday.

The Princess of York monitored the Hospital's eye bank, eye lens manufacturing industry and the training hall.

She also inquired ophthalmologists about the condition of services the hospital has been providing.

Princess was visibly excited when she heard of the hospital providing free service to those from impoverished family, shared Executive Chief Officer of the hospital Dr Rita Gurung.

Princess also praised the hospital's coordination with other hospitals in delivering services, Gurung said.
