Westerly winds bring about nip in the air

KATHMANDU: Temperature in most of the parts of country dipped today as westerly winds caused partially cloudy skies.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of light snowfall at a few places in mountainous region today and isolated brief rain at one or two places of the hilly region.

Though the minimum temperature has not gone down, a nip in the air can be felt in several parts of the country including the Kathmandu Valley, said meteorologist Ganga Nagarkoti.

The Division forecasts partly cloudy skies in the hilly regions through Wednesday night and sporadic brief rain at one or two places of the hilly regions.
