Kathmandu:

World Hindu Federation on Tuesday condemned the decision of the interim parliament to declare Nepal a secular state and demanded that the state of the ‘Hindu kingdom’ be reinstated.

Terming the decision illegitimate, WHF in a release demanded to nullify the decision and warned to “go to any extent” against the decision.

WHF said it had passed the resolution made during the eighth general council meet held in India, on April 27. New WHF president Col Hem Bahadur Karki said they would work

to unite all Hindus of the world. —HNS
