KATHMANDU: A woman died after she fell off the first floor of her rented residence in Gokarneshwor Municipality of the Kathmandu on Saturday.

The deceased is Mithu Karki (49), residing at Nayabasti in Gokarneshwor-12.

Karki was seriously injured in the accident and rushed to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

She had breathed her last during treatment at the Maharajgunj-based health facility.

Further investigation is underway, police said.
