KATHMANDU: A 23-year-old woman was found dead in an apparent suicide case in Kageshwori Manahara Municipality-13 of Kathmandu on Saturday.

Shreejana Shrestha, a permanent resident of Bhaktapur Municipality-16, was found dead at the room of Nikhil Ananda Singh, at local Sundari Chok, police said.

Her body was dangling with a bed sheet by the ceiling of room, police said.

Police added that the woman was living with Singh, a permanent resident of Saptari, for last two months.

Further investigation is underway.
