KATHMANDU: A woman was arrested for her alleged involvement in black marketing of petrol and diesel.

A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj, arrested Bir Kumari Shrestha (39), a permanent resident of Sindhupalchok district, from her rented room in Mandikhatar, Budhanilakantha-11 on Sunday.

Police also seized some petrol and diesel from her room.

Further investigation is underway.
