KATHMANDU: A woman was caught in possession of various idols which police said were stolen, from Kuleshwor, KMC-14 on Tuesday.

A team of police deployed from the Kalimati-based Metropolitan Police Circle arrested Kumari Tamang (20) of Bhimsensthan, Dolakha, who is currently residing in KMC-19.

Police seized an eight-inch long Naag idol, a brass idol and eight other idols of deities that are six to eight-inch long.

Police are looking further into the case.
