KATHMANDU: A woman was injured when a van hit collided with a motorcycle at Sallaghari of Bhaktapur district on Tuesday.

Police have identified the injured as a 32-year-old Sanu Shrestha, a resident of Purano Baneshwor.

She was riding pillion on the motorcycle (Ba 26 Pa 8404) that was hit by the van (Ba 5 Cha 5965) at 7 pm yesterday.

Shrestha is being treated at the Norvic Hospital in Thapathali.

The van has been impounded and the driver has been taken into custody at Sallaghari Metropolitan Traffic Police Range for investigation.
