Woman nabbed for murdering middle-aged dad
KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday arrested a girl among seven for her alleged involvement in murder of her father, in Tokha of Kathmandu.
Sangita Maharjan among seven was arrested on charge of murdering the 43-year-old Maila Maharjan, currently residing in Tokha of the Capital.
A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division had nabbed Maharjan along with Santosh Pandey from Nuwakot; Bikram Tamang from Dhading; Surya Rana Magar from Makawanpur; Dhan Bahadur Tamang from Bhojpur; Hari Tamang from Kavrepalanchok and Santosh Thapa Magar from Dhading.
Maila was found murdered with cut injuries on his neck, head, forehead, chest and hands, on February 4.
Police said they are looking into the case.
