KATHMANDU: Police said a woman was arrested on Thursday for her alleged involvement in black marketing of petrol.

Laxmi Shrestha Lama, a permanent resident Nirmalbasti-6 of Parsa district, currently residing in KMC-15 was arrested for selling petrol at Rs 200 per litre from Thulo Bharyang, Swayambhu of Kathmandu.

A team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwor had nabbed her while selling the fuel illegally.

Police are looking into the case.
