Kathmandu, October 29:

Sister organisations of various political parties today urged the government to roll back the decision to hike the prices of petroleum products.

Rather than hiking the prices, the government should explore other options, they said in a release.

The organisations urged the government to check corruption in the Nepal Oil Corporation. “The government should look for alternatives to price hike,” the All Nepal Women’s Organisation, the ANWO (Revolutionary), the All Nepal Progressive Women Organisation and the All Nepal Women (United) and the Nepal Women Forum said.
