KATHMANDU: A youth has been arrested for allegedly raping an underaged girl in KMC-7 on Sunday.

The accused has been identified as Leklal Tamang (21) of Manthali Municipality-6, of Ramechhap district, currently living at Forcepark in KMC-8.

Police arrested Tamang for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl of Fulasi Pokhari of Ramechhap district in her own room in KMC-7, according to police.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
