KATHMANDU: A youth was crushed to death in a minitruck accident in Sankhu of Kathmandu on Saturday.

The 22-year-old Raj Kumar Tamang, a permanent resident of Nayagaun Deupur-7 of Kavre, was crushed to death when the minitruck he was driving (Ba 3 Kha 8692) skidded off the road in Itakhel, Sankarapur Municipality-7 today.

The vehicle was carrying bricks.

Two assistants of the victim sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at local Life Care Hospital.

Police said they are out of danger.

Further investigation is underway.
