KATHMANDU: A man was found dead hanging with a shawl in his rented room in Manamaiju, Tarakeshwor Municipality-20 of Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Laxman Pariyar (21) of Lamjung, informed police. Pariyar was staying in a hut belonging to Man Bahadur Maharjan (21) of Manamaiju.

In the noose, he was found dead at around 8:00 pm yesterday.

A team of police deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Balaju, meanwhile, sent the body to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for autopsy.

Further investigation is underway.

Meanwhile, another 22-year-old Shree Raj Timilsina of Dhamidanda, Gotikhel in Lalitpur, was found dead in the similar condition in his hut on Tuesday afternoon.

The Tungun Area Police Office has sent the body to the Patan Hospital for autopsy.
