KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested a youth on Friday for allegedly injuring his friend over a dispute while playing badminton on Thursday.

Rajeev Rohi, a BBA student at the Cosmos College in Satdobato of Lalitpur, was nabbed for thrashing and injuring another student of the same institution, Ashok Prasad Joshi.

Rohi had allegedly hit Joshi while they were playing badminton at the college playground yesterday.

Rohi was also injured in the scuffle and was nabbed after the needful medical treatment at the Patan Hospital.

Meanwhile, Joshi was taken to the Ganesh Memorial Hospital in Mahalaxmisthan.

Police said three other suspects of the incident are on the run and the law enforcement personnel have launched a manhunt.

Further investigation is underway.
