It was a sunny day for good heavy lunch and I was looking for a new place to try out. My wife and I were driving around Uttardhoka street when signage caught my eye.

We entered the lane looking for The Bent Fork as the signage indicated. Once inside the lane it took us around three to four minutes to figure out where exactly The Benk Fork was. We had to go through the passage of Hotel Heranya to reach this eatery.

We entered a cosy setting and chose to sit outside. A few minutes, a waitress welcomed us and brought a big white board menu as well as the normal menus.

It was past one in the afternoon, and I wanted a heavy meal. So, I enquired about what else was on offer beside the ones on the white board menu. And we thought of ordering the mains rather than starters.

We ordered Creamy Lemon Prawn Pasta, Shredded Chicken Burger, Ice Tea and Fresh Lemon Soda. When I ordered my pasta, I was waiting for the waitress to ask me which pasta I would prefer but she did not. It’s nice to be asked what pasta one wants before they serve you the regular penne. I would have chosen tagliatelle or fettuccine.

Drinks were served pretty quickly though.

For our main course I was pretty happy as it came right on time. We did not have to wait more than 25 minutes. The presentation of the dishes was appealing too.

Now, it was time to taste the dishes to see whether the look and aroma was up to the mark or not. To our delight, both dishes were very good and yummy. The meals were well presented and prepared. The Creamy Lemon Prawn Pasta was delicious. The portion was good for a hungry stomach and the flavour was well balanced. The prawns in the pasta were big in size as opposed to the ones served in other restaurants.

I was satisfied with my choice of restaurant for the day.

I am a very picky eater and I am glad that The Bent Fork satisfied my appetite. I would recommend you give this restaurant a try.
