KATHMANDU: IMS Motors, a new subsidiary company under IMS Group, has recently acquired the dealership of SsangYong Motors for Nepal. The showroom of the Korean auto giant was jointly inaugurated by Deepak Malhotra, Chairman of IMS Group and Dikesh Malhotra, President and CEO of IMS Group on May 11. Earlier, SsangYong was being distributed by Constant Business Group in the Nepali market.

SsangYong Motor Company is the fourth largest South Korea-based automobile manufacturer. The company has a variety of model line-ups like luxury cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, vans, trucks and buses. The SsangYong showroom in Nepal has variants of SUVs, which includes models like Tivoli, Korando, Rexton, Kyron and Actyon Sports. All the models have different features best suited for car lovers.

The Tivoli is a mini SUV equipped with features like ABS and EBD system, body frame made out of ultra high strength steel, and a large boot capacity. Korando is a compact SUV consists of dual automatic a/c, active AWD with lock mode, attractive day-time running lights, Bluetooth connectivity.

Likewise, seven seating arrangement, premium leather interior, impressive HID headlamps can be found in Rexton. In Kyron, features like front dual airbags, highly reinforced ultra rigid steel frame making can be found. The Actyon Sports has a new sport design with luxurious interior, durable bed liner for better protection.

The price range of these models is — Rs 5.375 million for Tivoli, Rs 7.525 million for Korando, Rs 9.975 million and Rs 5.5 million for Actyon Sports. The company offers special gifts to the first 14 ‘special customers’ on the purchase of any SsangYong model. The gifts includes Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, Samsung S7 Edge, Samsung TV 40-inch, washing machine and more.
