Last rites of litterateur Dan Khaling performed in Darjeeling
KAKADBHITTA: Last rites of freedom fighter and Nepali litterateur Dan Khaling were performed in Singhamari, Darjeeling of India on Wednesday.
Khaling, who lived most of his life working in Nepal had passed away in Darjeeling on Monday.
His body was kept at the St Columbus Church for friends and well-wishers to pay their tributes.
Chief of the Darjeeling Territorial Administration, Bimal Gurung, paid tributes to deceased Khaling among others.
