Test DrveKathmandu SUVs have always fascinated me and I am always looking forward to checking out new rides that interest me. I bought my cars without a test drive but test driving the Tata Safari Storme has made me rethink my choices. I had a very good time getting behind the wheel of the new Tata Safari Storme. Equipped with a powerful 2.2 litre diesel engine mated to six-speed transmission, the best thing about this SUV is its power. It offered an easy and smooth off-road drive. I did not feel the bumps even when I was driving on the rough and tough roads of Chovar. I believe that the Safari Strome is the perfect beast for long drives. After driving it, I feel Safari Storme is my type of SUV. The luxurious interiors with integrated Connectnext infotainment system is something that allowed to connect my phone to Bluetooth. Since the controls of the audio system are also available on the steering itself, it is much easier to adjust the volume and change radio stations or the songs. The interior of this SUV is smartly done giving special preference to the infotainment system. I feel additional features like reverse parking sensor is helpful in places like Kathmandu where parking is a problem — you never know when you could bump into something unseen in the rear view mirror. What more can I say, it looks aggressive and mileage is good. The fuel tank capacity of the SUV is 63 litres. However, a little more on the fuel tank could give a lot of happiness to customers on a long drive. Overall, the new Safari Storme feels quite comfortable from inside and is a beast on- and off-road if you can really hit full throttle.
