Tata Motors Tiago launched in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Sipradi Trading Pvt Ltd, authorised distributor of Tata Motors launched their much awaited dynamic hatchback — Tiago on August 28. The hatchback is designed with an agile stance and sculpted body with sharp lines. The first look of the car was unveiled by Johnny Oommen, Head- Passenger Vehicles International Business, Tata Motors and Saurya Rana, President, Sipradi Trading.

Powered by 1199 cc Revotron 1.2L petrol engine, the hatchback generates maximum power of 85 PS at 6000 rpm and peak torque of 114 Nm at 3500 rpm. Tiago comes equipped with ConnectNext infotainment system exclusively designed by Harman. The car comes with new segment-first applications like the Turn-by-Turn Navi app and the Juke-Car app. Dual front airbags, advance ninth generation ABS with EBD and corner stability control, rear parking sensors with display on infotainment screen and energy absorbing body structure are the safety features of the new Tiago.

We are happy to expand our product range with this exciting new product.” The hatchback comes with class leading fuel efficiency of 23.84 kmpl (as per Automotive Research Association of India certification). In Nepal, the car is available in three variants — XE, XM and XZ. The starting price of the car is Rs 2.255 million and available in six colours — Striker Blue, Berry Red, Sunburst Orange, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White and Platinum Silver.
