PALPA: A man died and four others sustained injuries when a tractor met with an accident near Jalpa maidan of Purbakhola Rural Municipality-2 in Palpa district today.

The deceased has been identified as Man Bahadur Bahraghare of the same locality.

According to the information provided by SP Dilliraj Panta at the Palpa District Police Office, the tractor (Lu 1 Ta 8377) was carrying sand from Tare Gahira when the incident occurred.

Of the injured, one person is in critical condition. They undergoing treatment at Mission Hospital in Tansen of the district, said police

The injured have been identified as Karna Bahadur Kunwar, Rewant Hiski, Til Bahadur Gaha and Sushant Saru.
