KATHMANDU: A man died and another sustained injuries in two motorcycle collision in Sunbarshi Municipality-6 of Morang district on Monday, police said.

Police have identified the deceased as Jagadish Sah (55) of Ratuwamai Municipality-2 and injured and local Rup Narayan Tajpuriya (45) in the district.

According to police, the incident occurred when the two motorcycles (Me 6 Pa 6694) and (Me 3 Pa 9310) collided with each other in Jhappad Tal at 7:00 pm yesterday, critically injuring riders of both two-wheelers.

Sah, motorcyclist of (Me 6 Pa 6694) breathed his last at Siddhartha Hospital in Rangeli during the course of treatment while motorcyclist Tajpuriya has been undergoing treatment at Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar, informed Area Police Office.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
