RATNANAGAR: A girl died after she was struck by a lightning at the remote Lothar VDC of Chitwan on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Chandramaya Chepang (17).

The incident occurred when she was at her home.

Critically injured Chepang breathed her last on the way to the Bharatpur Hospital, Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, Chief at the District Police Office, Chitwan said.
