KATHMANDU: A girl died and four boys sustained injuries in an accident at Surichebhir, Gaurisankar Rural Municipality-5 of Darchula district on Sunday.

The incident occurred when five local children playfully climbed onto the tractor (Lu 3 Ta 5186) that was stationary on the inner dirt road and accidentally started the tractor. But, the vehicle skidded 15 metres below the road, killing the girl on the spot, said police.

The four injured have been rushed to the District Hospital for further treatment.
