NEPALGUNJ: As many as 11 persons were injured after a bus they were travelling on fell below the road at Baghkhor Mode of Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-1 in Banke district.

The bus (Na 5 Kha 6449) which was en route to Nepalgunj from Tulsipur in Dang fell 80 metres below the road, informed Sub-Inspector at District Traffic Police Office, Banke, Om Poudel.

Poudel further informed that the injured were taken to Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur.

It has been reported that the bus was running at a high speed.

Among the injured, three of them are in serious condition. They have been identified as Dal Bahadur Malla (53) of Rukum, Dil Bahadur Basnet (40) of Tulsipur, and Man Bahadur Basnet, driver's assistant in the bus.

Sub-Inspector Poudel said that the morning fog and over-speeding may be the possible causes of the accident.
