BIRATNAGAR: Sixteen people were injured after a passenger bus turned turtle in Morang on Friday afternoon, the Rastriya Samachar Samiti reported.

The accident took place along the East-West Highway at Jayachok of Pathari Shanischare-2 at around 3 pm, according to the Pathari-based Area Police Office.

Locals and security personnel rescued the injured and sent them to a local hospital for treatment, the RSS reported.
