187 teachers failed to submit property details

A total of 187 teachers in Tanahun failed to submit their property details in the last fiscal, according to District Education Office, Tanahun.
Earlier, the Ministry of Education through the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority had communicated to the office regarding the matter.
Rameshwor Lamichhane, an officer at DEO, Tanahun, said the names of those teachers failing to submit their property details had been made public.
“We have dispatched a circular to the concerned schools and teachers soon after we received the list of defaulters from the education ministry. We have advised the teachers to contact us as soon as possible,” said Lamichhane.
“Those teachers who made errors will have resubmit their property details and those who didn’t submit their property details earlier will have to complete the process and pay a fine of Rs 5,000 by September 10,” said District Education Officer of Tanahun Rudra Hari Bhandari. Some of the teachers have started updating their property details. Teachers are supposed to submit their property details within 60 days after a new fiscal begins.
Meanwhile, the DEO Tanahun has issued a notice, urging all teachers to submit their property details of this fiscal by August 31. The office will have to submit the details to concerned authority under education ministry by September 12.
