KATHMANDU: The local government in Jhapa district has been preparing to construct buildings for 19 vaccination centres.

The buildings will be built in 15 local units in the district following allocation of budget by Health Ministry, vaccination official at Jhapa District Public Health Office, Ishwor Poudel said.

The Ministry has allocated Rs 5.7 million at the rate of Rs 300,000 for each of the buildings. Poudel was quoted in Rastriya Samachar Samiti as saying,"The rural municipalities and the municipality will have to manage land by themselves."

He added that buildings have already been constructed at many places while the constructions are underway at other local units.
