KALIKOT: Two labourers working for construction of the Karnali Highway near Lalighat Bazaar of Kotbada VDC in Kalikot district died after falling into the Karnali River this afternoon.

The two fell into the River along with a stone together while trying to clear it from the road.

The deceased are Kamal Tiruwa of Siuna VDC-4 and Binda Tiruwa of Raku VDC-3, said Dipak Sunar, a local. It is said that they were working for 15 days for the Highway.
