BHOJPUR: Police recently arrested two persons with possession of pharmaceutical drugs.

The suspects have been identified as Surendra Shahi (35) and Prem Kumar Gurung (28).

Acting on a tip off, a police team deployed from the Eastern Regional Investigation Team, intercepted a scooter (Ko 10 Pa 4087), the duo were riding, heading towards Bhotepul of Dharan and confiscated the drugs concealed inside the two-wheeler, the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar informed.

Police said that they have seized 50 pieces each of avil and Diazelab, a samsung mobile phone and Rs 320 in cash from their possession.

Both of them have been kept at the Area Police Office, Dharan, for investigation, police informed.
