NAWALPARASI: Two persons were killed on the spot in a microbus accident in Makar 2, Chisapani, Nawalparasi on Wednesday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Buddhi Lal Puri and Sanju Chaudari, local residents of Makar 2, Chisapani.

According to the police nine others were injured in the incident. The seriously injured are undergoing treatment in Butwal, while the other four are undergoing treatment in a local medical centre.

The microbus which was heading to Butwal from Bardaghat, Nawalparasi fell off the bridge near Dibyajoti Multiple Campus, Chisapani.

The microbus and the driver are in the custody of Nawalparasi police.
