CHITWAN: A person was killed and another three persons were injured in a bus accident on Tuesday morning in Chitwan.

According to the police the accident took place when a tractor heading to Narayanghad from Kathmandu collided with a tanker heading to Muglin from Narayanghad.

The deceased approximately of around 28 years is yet to be identified.

The injured are Kamal Karki, the driver of the tractor and a local resident of Kaski, Ram Chandra Khadka, the truck driver and a local resident of Bhaktapur and Manoj Thapa, a conductor of the truck and a local resident of Nagdhunga, Kathmandu.

They are undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.

Meanwhile Devnath Mahato 40, a local resident of Padampur 4, Chitwan was killed when a tractor overturned, crushing him to death on Monday night in Bacchauli, Chitwan.
