200 cargo trucks including 3 fuel tankers enter Nepal via Sunauli
BHAIRAHAWA: Around 200 cargo vehicles including two petrol and three diesel tankers have entered Nepal through Belhiya customs point in Sunauli of Ruapdnehi on Wednesday.
SP Buddhi Raj Gurung, Chief of Rupandehi District Police Office, however, said supply of petroleum products have not completely eased yet though the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) ended the sit-in at the Indo-Nepal border.
The UDMF has now focused their protest programmes more on Lumbini Industrial Corridor than the Indo-Nepal border.
Due to the agitation, industries have run out of essential materials and most of them are not operating, according to Gurung.
Meanwhile, security agencies have held a meeting this evening to discuss the release of materials stuck inside cargo vehicles in different industrial areas of the district.
