21 roads to be constructed in Dadeldhura

DADELDHURA: More than a dozen roads would be constructed to connect districts of Far-Western Nepal and to turn Dadeldhura district into a financial hub.

A decision has been taken to implement the project for construction of a total 21 roads, said District Development Committee's Programme and Information Official Krishna Dev Joshi.

According to the District Technical Office, the roads are being developed at the local level to give momentum to the district's development and to provide easy access to the local products to the market areas.

DDC Account Official Nabal Malla said the efforts would be made to provide access to the public by expanding the road network to various parts of the district including the remotest villages.

He added that a budget of around Rs 20.5 million has been allocated for the construction of 21 roads.
