21 undocumented Nepali migrant workers return from Malaysia
KATHMANDU: The Nepali Embassy in Malaysia said it managed deportation of as many as 21 undocumented Nepali migrant workers with free tickets.
They left for Nepal today on an Air Asia aircraft, the Embassy of Nepal in Kuala Lumpur said in a statement this afternoon
Those people were sent back with free tickets with the support of the Depot Tahanan Imigresen Machap Umboo, Malacca.
It stated that 448 citizens have been deported to the country since last year, adding that the Nepali mission would make preparations to send other workers who are staying in various detention camps as well, at the earliest.
Nepali citizens, who spent jail sentences in Malaysia, are sent back to the country with the help of different Malaysian organisations and companies, the Embassy said.
