250 persons investigated in Nirmala Panta case

DHANGADHI: As many as 250 persons have been investigated so far, until Wednesday, in connection with the rape and murder of Nirmala Panta.

According to the investigation officer at District Police Office (DPO) in Kanchanpur, Krishna Raj Ojha, the data is for the period from July 27 onwards.

He said, most of the suspects in the case were called to the DPO itself for questioning, adding that the investigation will go on till the culprit(s) are identified.

Meanwhile, the protests that have been going on in Bhimdattanagar, Kanchanpur has been postponed up until ‘Kojagrat Purnima’, the last day of Dashain festival.
