POKHARA: Some 27 complaints on foreign employment frauds have been registered during two months at the branch office of People Forum for Human Rights in Pokhara.

The branch office of the forum was established in Pokhara on May 15 to provide free legal aid to the victims of foreign employment frauds.

Forum Legal Officer Deependra Aryal said that most of the victims of foreign employment frauds are being cheated by their own relatives. Aryal also informed that the office has received the cases of cheating foreign job aspirants up to Rs 2 million.

The Forum prepares the complaints on cheating based on the evidences presented by the victims, and then sends to the Department of Foreign Employment.
